Imagination is a supreme creative faculty, a faculty which all men possess, in some degree and use it at every moment. Without it man would be incapable of enjoying and creating art, unable to conjure up the past and anticipate the future, no speculation about the absent and no day dreaming or ambition. But the world itself is unimaginable without ambition. And ambition is the key for the basic mental development. We say that this day's art projects for elementary has become a mode of inspiration for young minds, to involve themselves in imagination but has it really or is it something else? I am afraid it leans more towards the later, for art projects for elementary must have some wider field than what we generally expected. Under the sway of imagination, we find ourselves in a strange situation, commit unfamiliar actions, and meet unknown people. And even the most broken heart finally finds a shore in his day dream. Even so, can this imaginative power in kids be brought back by an art projects for elementary? I believe, it never has the power to stand against the influential materialistic enjoyment which has become popular among kids these days, e.g. the Internet, Television, Computer Games, etc. and not at all with the present notion we bear in our mind about art project for elementary.

“Fear is poetry, Hope is poetry, love is poetry, hatred is poetry; contempt, jealousy, remorse, admiration, wonder, pity, despair or madness all are poetry”---Hazlitt. Rabindranath Tagore, the first recipient of the Noble Prize in India agreed at the age of 84 that all forms of art are as imaginative as poetry, when he took an interest in painting at that age. However, the truth is that he hasn't tasted a huge part of art in his short life time. Truly, art involves all that is related to an imagination. The University of Cambridge offers a degree called the Bachelor of Arts, even to students who complete an undergraduate course in science or mathematics.  “We must be clear that when it comes to atoms, language can be used only as in poetry”
It said the most famous quantum Physicist Neil Bohr. What does this all signify? It signifies just one thing art projects for elementary is just focusing on one small section of art. Our modern society expects just some paintings and a few models in their visit to local school art projects for elementary. And the teachers worked day and night to give just this limited, selfish notion about their school's art projects for elementary. Art is not that selfish. Art is a deep lying desire to change life, modify personality and to penetrate the unknown. The ridiculous part about this art projects for elementary is that, it attempts to explain a beauty, which is foolish. A teacher can only tell a student that daffodil is a beautiful flower but the teacher can never make the student feel the beauty of daffodils. With these strange impressions about art projects for elementary it is obvious that grownups will not rush to see Shakespeare's drama and don't feel the romance of Binomial theorem.

Art Lessons For Elementary

In short I mean that art projects for elementary must at least give a proper impression about the definition of art. Alternatively, else we will be heading towards a world with no imagination and with just mechanical intelligence.

Children's Art

Pablo Picasso said "Every Child is an artist. The problem is how to remain an artist once we grow up". Children have abundant energy. One of the ways to show their energy is their innate ability to make something out of anything. Children's artistic creativity will come naturally. They can paint for hours by absorbing themselves in the process of creating without the end product.
