Students of middle school art class may show their personalities to make flip-flops. They can use foam core to make it base for their project and cut it like its shape of flip-flops. Materials that they need to use are colored paper, magazine, markers and pipe cleaners and other collage items. Let them express themselves by showing to their draw images. Teach them to move the aspect around to arrange the things as what they want and cut them to fit the flip-flop base. After this, they can seal it using a glue and cover with clear shellac. After successfully doing the base, they can now start doing the strap of their flip flops. They can use the pipe cleaners and connect them to the base. But before connecting to the base, students may put a small hole at the base on where they can connect the strap. They can put shells, buttons and ribbons for decorating the straps.
